The third stage of the "tour de Smath" was held in beautiful Vicenza, courtesy of the social enterprise Pane Quotidiano (daily bread for non Italian speakers) within Villaggio SOS di Vicenza onlus. Aiming at inclusive working experiences for the young guests of Villaggio SOS, Pane Quotidiano involves them in the entire process of making bread, from the baking to the selling phase.
Artists and companies, that by now has turned into a more tight-knit group where relationships have been created and ideas had been generated, were shown the company's premises such as the bread oven and one of the bakeries located in the city. They were thus given the full lowdown on its values and what makes the company tick - with degustation of products as an essential part of the study-visit, a pleasant way to experience the company and get an even deeper understanding of it. The third working lab offered attendees the chance to better elaborate ideas and turn them into actual, implementable projects.
By this date, a couple of dozens projects were coming to life, with a rather detailed description, a reason to exist and an action plan. Participants were getting more and more eager to get things going and this can be considered evidence of a "smart atmosphere" being built.
